Japan: set the APN

Some plans for Japan need one setting typed in by hand.

Open the setting
Settings › Cellular › Alpha eSIM › Cellular Data Network.

Type the APN
In the APN field under Mobile Data, enter vmobile.jp.

Turn on roaming
Make sure Data Roaming is on for Alpha eSIM, then wait a minute.
Everywhere else, and on most Android phones, the APN is set automatically.
